this is catch-up entry #2: In February our friends Brady, Shelley, and Theran invited us to go with them down to St. George for a weekend. We spent a day in Zions National Park and took the kiddos to see the Emerald Pools; Sophie proved once again that she is infact our daughter she loved every minute of the hike and wanted to see and explore everything and pushed the limits of how far she could go before we would reel her in. Another day we drove down to Vegas for some shopping and then dinner then spent a recovery day in St. George before heading home. Thanks again Beck family for inviting us we had a great time and look forward to more adventures with you guys!

This was one of several mini avalanches that occurred while we were visiting the pools. After we started to head back a pretty good size avalanche happened right where we had been- lets just say we had good timing and someone watching over us.
