Sophie's Birthday 2010!

Sophie turned 2 on December 19th!  We were a bit low key this year and just celebrated with family but still had a lot of fun!  This year we featured a few of Sophie's favorite things so her theme was a Minnie Mouse, Train, and bubbles party.  I didn't get a picture of this but on the walls we taped "bubbles" with drawings of her favorite things these are just a few of her favorites that were drawn: bike, Jens, planes, dogs, swings.  We can't believe our little princess isn't a baby anymore she is the diva of the family and somedays I think she's 2 going on 16.  She loves to twirl especially when wearing poofy skirts and dresses, dancing, jumping, and "skating" on our wood floors, being tickled, cooking, stickers, loves to do her "makeup" with Mami, bubble baths, loves all animals and making their sounds. 

Favorite Colors: blue, purple, and pink. 

Favorite shows: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Timmy the Sheep

Favorite Food: Turkey Hot Dogs and Pasta

Favorite Drink: Juice

Favorite Snack: Gummies and Raisins

Favorite Person: Jens-Mami comes in at a close 2nd, and Daddy a very distant 3rd

Favorite Book: Naughty Little Monkeys (at least for this week- it changes every week)

Favorite Phrase: "I dooo it!"

Current Favorite Movies: Finding Nemo and Cars- this also changes on a weekly to monthly basis

The Cake

Birthday Breakfast: Chocolate Chip Minnie Mouse Pancakes with whip cream

Opening presents in the morning, Sophie was a really good girl waiting for everyone to be ready to watch her.  This was the only really good pic we got of her in the morning all the others we took her face was half blocked by tissue paper or the dog.
In the afternoon we had family over for cake and ice cream and since this was a Minnie Party all the guests had to have their own mouse ears
